What to eat and what to avoid?
The eatwell plate
- Eat mostly fruit and veg (you should eat 5 a day)
- 1/3 of your eatwell plate is bread, rice and pasta etc. Also include any starchy foods.
- It is important to also eat dairy like milk and cheese.
- To get some protein into your system, try eating meat, fish and eggs with any other non- dairy products in this category.
- Eating and drinking lots of drinks and high in fat foods is not very good for your diet however it is still needed.
